On this Fourth of July we picked our customers up at the Loreto Marina and headed out north to look for dorado (mahi-mahi). Water temps were in the low 80s and the water color was beautiful. As we were headed out we came across a bunch of pangas on some sargasso so we joined in on the fun but there were a lot of small dorado so we played catch and release for a little bit and decided to look for bigger fish. We trolled around continuing to find small dorado. While fishing a kelp paddy we had a striped marlin come swimming by we threw two live baits at it and got it to bite. It was a perfect way for end our day
