Today weather conditions were ideal and the water was good. The bite was a little challenging, but we were able to get a good yellowtail, and some decent snapper and grouper. Just goes to show you how everyday on the water is different. Some days the fishing is incredible and the next day could be the complete opposite. Today was an in between day on catching but still a bunch of fun. You're not gonna be able to catch them sitting in the hotel so its always worth getting out on the water to have your shot at an incredible day!

Today we headed out with a group of Dodger fans from Los Angeles. The skies were overcast with a slight drizzle here and there. We encountered a large pod of dolphins right away as we headed out into the Sea of Cortez. The bite started off well then died off shortly after. We managed to get a solid combination of yellowtail, grouper, and snapper on the boat. Was a good day for some family fun!

On this Fourth of July we picked our customers up at the Loreto Marina and headed out north to look for dorado (mahi-mahi). Water temps were in the low 80s and the water color was beautiful. As we were headed out we came across a bunch of pangas on some sargasso so we joined in on the fun but there were a lot of small dorado so we played catch and release for a little bit and decided to look for bigger fish. We trolled around continuing to find small dorado. While fishing a kelp paddy we had a striped marlin come swimming by we threw two live baits at it and got it to bite. It was a perfect way for end our day

Today we decided to try and have another day like yesterday, but we were trying a different location. We went out northeast of Carmen a little just to come across a bunch of pangas on some dorado so we joined in on the party. Once again hooking up instantly to dorado. Being sure we could find some good seaweed we left the party and went offshore. Leaving 80˚ water we expected to find warmer water, that was not the case the water was cold and not attractive. After trolling some more back in the warmer water and catching some dorado we headed back in with another susccecful day in the books.
